I co-own the salon with Sam and my daily role is front of house looking after our wonderful guests.

I have a slight obsession with tea and my salon collection is up to 38 for our guests to enjoy. (ask me for the menu the next time your in salon, I also have a few for extra special occasions). We have a great atmosphere in salon and I enjoy helping people feel pampered and comfortable, the tea helps but I think its really down to our laid back approach and the team spirit we have in salon.

I'm so proud of our little salon on the hill, we have achieved so much in our short time since opening, both myself and Sam are so grateful for the amazing support we have received. We have bold ambitions here at Vintage, I cant wait for you to watch our story unfold.

I started hairdressing a little later than most At 18. Qualifying a few years later I moved to a city centre salon and quickly moved from graduate to stylist. My early influences came from the brand Tigi. Heavy texture and even heavier fringes were the norm in my early days.

I moved back to a salon in my home town Blackwood, where I started as a stylist and grew into a senior after 6 months. As I matured as a hairdresser so did my influences. Sassoon, geometry and classic lines became the staple of my work.

From early in my career It became my ambition to open my own salon. Vintage was born out of a want to create a space where guests were treated exceptionally well and an environment where our stylists had complete creative freedom. Our philosophy is simple, to give each guest a bespoke experience, awesome haircuts and great customer service.

Hairdressing is all I have ever wanted to do. I had my first 'Girls World' styling head at 6 and I started as a shampoo girl at 14! Im fascinated by colour and colour theory. I love combining my knowledge with bold new techniques and little bit of 'Disney' into my hairdressing. My inspiration comes from glossy celeb mags, fashion bloggers and disney princess'!

Ive grown as a stylist since joining Vintage and I love that I have complete creative freedom here! I cant wait to represent Vintage at Hair Club Live and Im setting my sights on the Davines World wide hair tour competition. I'd also love to get my work published.

I have always experimented with my own hair and a career in hairdressing has always been in the back of my mind. I am qualified in Interactive Media and have crossed my creativeness over to hairdressing. I take a lot of inspiration from 'youtubers' and social media personalities. I am currently training to achieve my NVQ qualifications and I am especially interested in colour. Assisting the Vintage team is really helping progress my training and I am currently taking hair models every Wednesday afternoon.
